Removing

- Remove left and right spray nozzles - 6 -.

- Unclip line - 2 - from hood hinge - 3 - and hood - 5 -.

- Pull out line - 2 - from opening of hood - 5 -.

- Loosen hex nuts - 1 - at left and right (do not remove completely).

• A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Remove gas-filled strut - 4 - at hood - 5 -. Refer to => [ Gas-Filled Strut ] Gas-Filled Strut.

- Remove the hex nuts - 1 - and lift the hood - 5 - from the hinges - 3 -.





Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification of hex nut for hood: 22 Nm

Adjusting hood - 1 -, refer to => [ Adjusting Hood ] Adjusting Hood.

- Route line - 2 - as shown in illustration. Do not kink line.
