Treble Speakers, Rear

• The treble speakers are fastened to the side trim panel and/or to the door trim panel from the rear.

• Speaker trim must always be replaced when replacing treble speaker.

• Removal and installation of left or right side speakers is identical.

Removing

Perform the following steps before starting:

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

On a 2-door vehicle it is necessary to first remove the side trim panel in order to remove a speaker..

On a 4-door vehicle it is necessary to first remove the door trim panel in order to remove a speaker..

Continuation for all

- Disconnect harness connector in speaker wiring harness.

- Cut off the heat-sealed plastic clips - arrows - and remove the speaker and the speaker trim from of the trim panel.






Installing

- Insert the speaker with the new speaker trim into the trim panel.

- Heat-seal the plastic clips - arrows - on the speaker trim and on the speaker with a soldering iron






Further installation is in the reverse sequence to removal.
