1 Bolt

8 Nm

2 Guide Tube

For the oil dipstick

3 Bolt

6 Nm

4 Coolant Line

With the intake manifold runner control valve bracket.

5 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve (N316)

6 Seal

Replace

7 Vacuum Actuator

For the intake manifold flaps.

Pay attention to the position of the intake manifold flaps when installing: the intake manifold flaps must be open.

8 Intake Manifold

With the intake manifold flaps.

With the vacuum reservoir installed. For information on checking, refer to => [ Vacuum Reservoir in Intake Manifold, Checking for Leaks ] Vacuum Reservoir in Intake Manifold, Checking for Leaks.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Intake Manifold ] Intake Manifold.

9 from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)

10 Sealing Plugs

11 Bolt

20 Nm

12 to Suction Jet Pump

Suction jet pump overview. Refer to => [ Suction Jet Pump Overview ] Suction Jet Pump Overview.

13 Grommet

Replace if damaged.

14 to Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Valve

15 Intake Manifold Support

16 Throttle Valve Control Module (J338)

With the throttle drive (for Electronic Power Control (EPC)) (G186), throttle drive angle sensor 1 (for EPC) (G187) and throttle drive angle sensor 2 (for EPC) (G188).

When replacing, adapt the Engine Control Module (ECM) to the throttle valve control module. Refer to "Guided Functions" in the vehicle diagnostic tester.

17 Bolt

7 Nm

18 Gasket

Replace

Ensure it is correctly seated in the intake manifold.

19 Connection

For the crankcase ventilation

With the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) heating element (N79).

From the cylinder head cover.

20 Fuel Rail

For cylinders 2, 4 and 6.

Spring elements for the fuel injectors must always be replaced before installing.

Tighten uniformly, starting from the inside working toward the outside.

21 Bolt

30 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Replace

Tighten the bolts l uniformly, starting from the inside working toward the outside.
