The Needle Bearing is Installed in Vehicles with the V10 TDI Engine.

Allocation, refer to the parts catalog.

• Engine and transmission are removed. Refer to => Engine
Mechanical, Fuel Injection and Glow Plug 10 Removal and Installation.

• Starter is removed.

• The engine and transmission do not have to be separated to replace the bearing.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Kukko extractor 14.5-18.5 mm (21/2) or a similar commercially available puller.

• Kukko Support (22/1) or a similar commercially available support.

• Adapter from the Slide Hammer - Complete Set (VW 771)

• Adapter (VW771/44)

• Centering Mandrel (12 - 551)
