Bumper Cover

• Due to model variations, small deviations must be considered during removal and installation.

Removing





- Loosen the front of the wheel housing liner. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner Assembly Overview ] Description and Operation

- Remove bolts - 7 - in area of wheel housing liner.

- Remove bolts - 2 - from below.

- Remove screws - 3 and 5 -.

- With a second technician, pull cover - 1 - in - direction of arrow - parallel out of guide profiles - 1 -.

- Depending on vehicle equipment, disconnect wiring harnesses - 4 - for electrical components, headlamp washer system hose.

Installation





- Depending on vehicle equipment, connect the wiring harnesses and hoses from the electrical components.

- With a second technician, slide cover parallel - arrows - into guide profile - 7 -.

- Install bolts - 3, 4 and 5 -, tightening specification: 2 Nm.

- Install bolts - 2 -, tightening specification 6 Nm.
