Front Interior and Map/Reading Lamp, Without Panorama Sunroof, From 06.08

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Deactivate anti-theft warning system. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating ] Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating.

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Pry off the trim using the (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver at the tabs - arrows -.






- Remove both screws - 1 - and the interior lamp from the roof console.






- Disconnect the 3 connectors - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
