Fender

• Removing and installing the left fender is described here. Removing and installing the right fender is identical.

Removing






- Remove front bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover ] Bumper Cover, Front, Street Version.

- Remove wheelhouse liners. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner

- Remove the bumper cover bracket. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover Substructure ] Front Bumper Cover Substructure.

- Remove the fender end plate - 5 -. Refer to => [ Fender End Plate ] Fender End Plate

- Remove bolts - 3, 4 and 6 -.

- Pull out foam piece - 2 - between fender and longitudinal member.

- Remove the bolts - 8 -.

- Carefully remove fender - 1 -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

- Install the spacer (AKL 381 035 50) between the fender and the sill panel.

- For bolt tightening specifications, refer to => [ Front Fender, Assembly Overview ] Fender Overview

- Make sure the gaps are parallel and pay attention to gap dimensions.
