Bumper Cover, Front, Off-Road Version with 28 Degree Slope Angle

Front Bumper Cover

• Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures of front bumper cover, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing






- Loosen the front left and right wheel housing liner around the bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner.

- Remove the wheel covers - 7 - out of the catches near the bumper cover.

- Remove the bolts - 6 - behind the wheel covers.

- Remove bolts - 3 - from below.

- Remove cover - 2 -.

- Remove bolts - 4 - from below.

- Remove the bolts - 5 -.

A second mechanic is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

- Pull on the corners of the bumper - arrows - to detach it from its mounting brackets.

- With a second technician, pull the bumper cover parallel out of mounts on the headlamps.

- Disconnect harness connectors of installed electrical components and hoses.

- Disconnect the hose coupling on the washer fluid hose.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

• When installing front bumper cover, make sure it is guided on parallel on fender.

- Make sure gaps are parallel and note gap dimensions.
