Rear Window Wiper Motor (V12)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

- Remove the lower rear lid trim.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.






- Rotate the clip on the hose connection to release - 1 -.

- Remove the hose connection from the rear window wiper motor - 2 -.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.

- Carefully remove the rear window wiper motor - 2 - from the rear lid.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Check seal for correct fitting in rear window opening. Marking - 1 - of seal must align with marking - 2 - on rear window.






- Tighten all threaded connections to the specification given in => [ Rear Window Wiper System Overview ] Rear Window Wiper System Overview.

- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Connecting ] Battery, Connecting.
