Battery, Disconnecting

• By disconnecting the battery ground wire (opening the circuit), it is possible to work on the electrical system safely.

• Disconnection of the battery positive terminal is only required for removal of the battery.

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

- Open the battery case cover - 1 -.






- First, disconnect the battery terminal clamp of ground wire - 1 - from the battery negative terminal.






- Disconnect the positive wire battery terminal clamp - 2 - from the positive battery terminal.
