Vents

Center Vent
Removing
- In vehicles with a storage compartment in the center console, remove the rubber mat to reach the bolt - 1 -.
- On vehicles with Climatronic, remove the sunlight photo sensor (G107) or sunlight photo sensor 2 (G134) first => [ Sunlight Photo Sensors ] Service and Repair.
- Remove screws - 1 -.
- Remove cover - 2 - (only in vehicles with Climatronic).
- Remove screws - 1 -.
• On vehicles with storage compartment in instrument panel, screws are under a lining mat.
- Remove storage compartment from instrument panel.
- Remove center vent - 2 - upward - arrow -.
- Disconnect harness connectors from center vents.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Right or Left Vent
• The procedure for removing the vent is identical for both sides.
• To prevent damage to instrument panel, use a pad when prying out.
Removing
- Pry out vent - 1 - using an appropriate tool.
- Disconnect harness connector at vent.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Rear Footwell Channel
Removing
• The procedure for removing rear channels is identical for both sides.
- Remove driver or front passenger seat
- Remove center console.
- Lift floor carpet, unclip rear channel from floor and pull off from heating unit.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
• When installing the rear channel, ensure the rear channel is first slid onto heating unit - arrow - and then clipped in to floor.
Right Footwell Vent
Removing
- Remove glove compartment.
- Remove the bolt - 2 - (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and the right footwell vent - 1 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
• In vehicles with glove compartment cooling, make sure cooling hose is correctly seated.
Left Footwell Vent
Removing
- Remove the driver side footwell cover
- Remove the bolt - 2 - (1.5 ± 0.2 Nm) and the left footwell vent - 1 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
