Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor, with Engine Code CBFA

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 5-50 Nm (VAG 1331)

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation..

- Remove the left front wheel.

- Remove the left front wheel housing liner.

- Loosen the lines - 1 -, remove the nuts - 2 -, disconnect the electrical connector - 3 - and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor.





• Press the securing ring to disengage the lines.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to --> [ Secondary Air Injection System Assembly Overview, with Engine Code CBFA ] Service and Repair.

Install in reverse order of removal.
