Coolant Fans

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 5-60 Nm (VAG 1783)

Removing

- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to --> [ Fan Shroud ] Fan Shroud.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.





- Free up the electrical wires.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the fan.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to --> [ Radiator, Coolant Fan and Shroud Assembly Overview ] Radiator, Coolant Fan and Shroud Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal.
