Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

Removing

- Remove front bumper cover.

• To avoid interchanging the washer fluid line connections on the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59), the connections on the pump and hose lines are color-coded. Hose connector pieces must be connected to the corresponding colored pump connections during installation.

- To release, twist the securing clips at the hose connections - 3 - and - 5 - and disconnect them from the Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59) - 4 -.





- Collect the draining fluid in a suitable container.

- Remove Windshield and Rear Window Washer Pump (V59) - 4 - upward out of reservoir.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Tighten all fasteners according to value in table. Refer to --> [ Windshield Washer System Tightening Specifications ] [1][2]Specifications.

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to --> [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
