Center Instrument Panel Air Vents

Removing

Vehicles without Climatronic

- Remove lining mat - 1 - from storage compartment.

- Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the storage compartment - 3 - from the air vent - 4 -.

Vehicles with Climatronic

- Switch off ignition.

- Pry sunlight photo sensor - 5 - out of cover using Wedge (3409).

- Disconnect wiring harness from sunlight photo sensor.

- Remove bolt - 6 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the cover - 7 - from the air vent - 4 -.

All vehicles

- Disengage the vents from the mounts starting with the front locking mechanisms - 8 -.

- Remove the vents - 4 - from the two mounts in the center of the instrument panel trim - 9 -.

- Disconnect harness connector from Front Passenger Airbag Disabled Indicator Lamp (K145).

- Operate locking mechanism and remove emergency flasher switch.





Installing

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
