Condenser
• Observe notes --> [ A/C Refrigerant System ] A/C Refrigerant System
Removing
CAUTION!
• Switch off all electrical consumers.
• Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
- Evacuate refrigerant circuit using refrigerant recycling/recovery unit Kent-Moore ACR4 (or UL approved equivalent)
- Remove front bumper
- Remove lock carrier
CAUTION!
• Frostbite danger!
• High pressure refrigerant may leak out if refrigerant circuit is not discharged.
• Always evacuate refrigerant prior to opening refrigerant circuit.
- Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser and seal.
1 Protective mesh
• Where applicable.
• Position on the 2nd rib from below.
2 Clip
• Qty. 8
3 Condenser
• Secured to radiator.
4 Sealing strip
• Adhere upper sealing strips from above onto 6th lamella row of condenser before installing.
• Adhere lower sealing strips from below onto 1st lamella row of condenser before installing.
• Adhere side sealing strips from below onto condenser collector from the 1st lamella row before installing.
5 Spacer
• Only on models with gasoline engine.
6 Bolt
• 5 Nm
7 Radiator
8 Screws
• 4x
• 5 Nm
9 Fluid reservoir with dryer cartridge
