Luggage Compartment Side Trim, Wagon

• Removal and installation is described for the right-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the left-hand side is performed in the same manner.

Removing

- Remove cover for rear lock carrier. Refer to --> [ Rear Lock Carrier Cover, Wagon ] Rear Lock Carrier Cover, Wagon.

Vehicles with level luggage compartment floor:

- Remove the luggage compartment floor trim. Refer to --> [ Luggage Compartment Floor Cover, Wagon ] Luggage Compartment Floor Cover, Wagon.

All vehicles:

- Remove backrest. Refer to --> [ Backrest ] Rear Seats.

- Remove side upholstery:

• with rear side airbags --> [ Side Upholstery with Side Airbag ] Rear Seats.

• without rear side airbags --> [ Side Upholstery without Side Airbag ] Rear Seats.

- Remove the two bolts - 1 - (8 Nm) and remove the anchor point - 2 -.

- Remove the securing clip - 3 -.

- Remove bolt - 8 - (4.5 Nm) and remove coat hook bracket - 7 -.

- Pull the trim - 6 - inward - arrow A - out of the retainers in the body.

- Pull the trim - 6 - forward - arrow B - over the backrest lock bracket - 4 - and tie-downs - 5 -.

- Depending on vehicle equipment, disconnect the corresponding wiring harnesses and remove trim from vehicle.





Installing

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

• Before installing, inspect the securing clips for damage and replace if necessary.
