Plastic Relay Lever
Plastic Relay Lever from 03.07
• To remove the relay lever, the selector cable retainer must be disconnected.
This prevents damage to the selector cable.
- Pull the securing mechanism forward as far as the stop in the direction of - arrow 1 - and then unlock it to the left in the direction of - arrow 2 -.
- Then press the relay lever forward (- direction of arrow 3 -).

- Press the tab - arrow 1 - down as far as the stop and remove the relay lever together with the cable retainer. Move it in the operating direction when doing so.

- Remove the clip - arrow 1 - and the relay lever together with the cable retainer.

The cable retainer must be behind the tab - arrow 2 -.
• The cable retainer may only be removed with the relay lever removed.
• Lubricate the bearing areas and sliding surfaces when installing.
• Allocate the grease, refer to the => Electronic Parts Catalog.
- Press the cable retainer on the relay lever.
- Insert the relay lever together with the cable retainer as far as the stop.

• The tab - arrow 1 - secures the relay lever.
• Make sure it engages securely.
• The cable retainer must be behind the tab - arrow 2 -.
Relay Lever with Clip - arrow 1 - (see illustration N34-11141).
• The clip - arrow 1 - secures the relay lever.
• Make sure the clips locks securely.
• The cable retainer must be behind the tab - arrow 2 -.
Pry the Selector Cable Retainer Out of the Plastic Relay Lever
• The relay lever is removed
- Position a flat head screwdriver - A - between the bushing - B - and the relay lever.
Press on the Cable Retainer
• The relay lever is removed
• The cable retainer may only be pressed on at the bushing - arrow -.
• The cable retainer must move freely on the relay lever.
• It must be behind the tab - arrow 2 -, refer to.
