Sun Visor

• Removal and installation is described for the right side of the vehicle. Removing and installing on the left side is identical.

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove sun visor from left mounting bearing - 1 -.

- Using a small screwdriver, open cover cap - 2 - and remove screw - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

- Carefully pull sun visor mount - 4 - out of mount.

- Lightly pull on wiring harness until connector slides out of opening in roof crossmember.

• Do not pull harness connector further, since the excess length of wiring harness is limited and there is a hazard it will shear off.

- Disconnect connector.

• If only the sun visor is to be removed, trim - 5 -, screws - 6 - and sun visor bearing - 1 - do not need to be removed.

- Pry out trim - 5 - with a screwdriver and remove the two screws - 6 - (1.5 Nm).






Installation

• Slide a small foam pipe (part number 535.971.790) over harness connector when installing sun visor.

- Install in reverse order of removal.
