Spray Nozzle Holder





Removing

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove spray jet with cover cap - 1 - up to stop out of bumper cover.

- Unclip cover cap - 1 - from bearings - arrows - on spray jet holder.

- Lift lug - arrow - slightly and pull out spray nozzle holder.





Installing

With the lugs on the spray nozzle holder, it can be adjusted how strongly the spray nozzle cover cap is fastened onto bumper cover. If spray nozzle holder is not slid in far enough, cover cap does not close. If spray nozzle holder is slid in too forcefully, cover cap and bumper cover may be deformed.

- Slide spray nozzle holder into lift cylinder until it engages.

- Install cover cap onto the spray nozzle holder and let down lift cylinder.

- Check cover cap for correct seating on bumper cover.

- Adjust cover cap if necessary by shifting spray nozzle holder into a higher or lower catch on the lift cylinder.

- Bleed headlamp washer system after completing assembly work. Refer to=> [ Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding ] Headlamp Washer System, Bleeding.

- Check the spray nozzles for the headlamp cleaning system and adjust if necessary.
