Headlamps

• It is not necessary to disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

• The following illustrations depict removal and installation of left headlamp.

• If one headlamp is removed, it must always be adjusted after installation.

• If a headlamp with HID lamps is removed, always perform the basic setting of the headlamp after installation.


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removal

- Disconnect the connector - arrow - from the headlamp.






- Remove the front bumper cover.

- Remove the screw - arrow - from the upper headlamp.






- Remove the screw - arrow - from the left lower headlamp.






- Remove the screw - arrow - from the right lower headlamp.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Halogen Headlamps Overview, through MY 09 ] Halogen Headlamps Overview, through MY 09.

- Make sure the gap around the headlamp is even all the way around.

If headlamp has an uneven gap dimension to the body, installation position must be corrected. Refer to=> [ Halogen Headlamps, Installation Position, through MY 09 ] Halogen Headlamps, Installation Position, through MY 09.

- Check headlamp for functions.

- Check headlamp adjustment and adjust the headlamps.
