Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

EVAP Canister

Removing

- Remove the cover bolts - arrows - and remove the cover - A -.





- Disconnect the lines - 1, 2 and 3 -. To do so, press in or press together the securing ring.





- Press the locking mechanisms on the bolt points in the - direction of the arrow - using a screwdriver and remove the EVAP canister - 4 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

• Make sure the lines and EVAP canister are locked securely.
