Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing






Slave Cylinder with Release Bearing

The slave cylinder and release bearing are one unit and can only be replaced together.

Removing

Remove the transmission.

- Disengage the circlip - 2 - with a screwdriver or a pointed tool and remove the breather - 4 - from the slave cylinder - 1 -.





- Remove the slave cylinder bolts - arrows -.





- Remove slave cylinder with release bearing - A -.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

Slave cylinder bolts may only be tightened in small increments.

Otherwise, there is a danger that the bolt hole tabs could break off.

- Install the clutch slave cylinder with release bearing bolts - item 4 -=> [ Bolt ] Clutch Release Mechanism Overview.

- Check the O-ring - 3 - on the clutch slave cylinder.





- Install the breather - 4 - onto the slave cylinder - 1 - until the securing clip - 2 - engages audibly.

- Pull on the breather to verify.

Install the transmission.

- Bleed the clutch system. Refer to => [ Clutch System, Bleeding ] Procedures.
