Removing

- Remove rear lock carrier cover.






- Remove electrical connector - 4 - from closing aid.

- Disengage emergency release release - 2 - from striker pin - 1 -.

- Remove the bolts - 3 -.

- Remove striker pin - 1 - from rear lock carrier.

Installation

- Install striker pin - 1 - on rear lock carrier and position screws - 3 -.






Screw tightening specification - 3 -: 23 Nm

Install in reverse order of removal.

• Perform a function test on all unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
