Crankshaft Needle Bearings

Only for vehicles equipped with a Direct Shift Gearbox(R)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Puller (T10055)

• Adapter (T10055/3)

• Centering Mandrel (3176)

• or Drift (VW 207 C)

• Puller, for example, Kukko Extractor 14.5-18.5 mm (21/2)

Removing

- Remove the bearings using either a standard puller, for example, (21/2) - arrow - with (T10055) and (T10055/3).





Installing

• The side of the needle bearing with writing on it must be readable when installed.

- Drive in the bearing using (VW 207 C) or (3176).





Installation depth dimension = 2 mm - a -
