VAS 5056 Test Box

It is possible to check airbag system individual components with VAS 5056 to determine which component is inoperative. Measured Value Block. Measured Value (Data) Block

NOTE: Observe safety measures when working on airbag.

Connecting test box to driver's airbag components
- Remove driver's airbag unit
- Remove lower steering column switch trim.







- Connect igniter connector to inert igniter -1- on terminal of VAS 5056.

1. Connector on inert igniter
2. VAS 5056 button
3. Connector for spiral spring/return spring with slip ring.
