DTC Memory Erasing , Ending Output
Requirements:
DTC memory has been checked

1. Erasing DTC memory
- Press -> button.





Indicated on display; (Clear for function selection)
- Press buttons -0- and -5-; -05- enters " Erase DTC memory" function.

- Confirm entry with -Q- button





Indicated on display
- Press -> button.





Indicated on display (Clear for function selection)





Note:
^ If this appears in display, there is a test sequence malfunction.
^ Adhere to test sequence: Check DTC memory, then erase

2. Ending output
- Press buttons -0- and -6-, ends output.





Indicated on display
- Confirm input with -Q- button.





Indicated on display
- Switch off ignition.
- Disconnect Data Link Connector (DLC) from Scan tool VAG 1551
- Switch on ignition.
ABS Warning Light -K7- and brake system Warning Light -K118 must go out after approx. 2 seconds.
