SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback Driver Side): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Airbag System (for Hatchback with VSC/Built-in Type Yaw Rate Sensor). (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

NOTICE:
Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR Removal (from 07/2011)

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) for 6 Way Seat Type:

(1) Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.





(2) Disengage the 4 clamps.

(3) Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.

(4) Disengage the 2 clamps.





(5) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.

(b) for 4 Way Seat Type:

(1) Disengage the 3 clamps.





(2) Disconnect the connector from the seat position airbag sensor.

(3) Disengage the clamp.





(4) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
