Installation

2AR-FE EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Connect the front exhaust pipe assembly to the support bracket.

(c) Install the front exhaust pipe assembly with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 55 Nm (561 kgf-cm, 40 ft-lbf)

(d) Install the bracket with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 33 Nm (337 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket to the center exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Connect the center exhaust pipe assembly to the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Install the center exhaust pipe assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.





Torque : 49 Nm (500 kgf-cm, 36 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER

(a) Install the exhaust pipe damper with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Dual Type)

(a) Install 2 new gaskets to the tail exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Connect the 2 tail exhaust pipe assemblies to the 5 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Install the 2 tail exhaust pipe assemblies with the 4 nuts.





Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

5. INSTALL TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Single Type)

(a) Install a new gasket to the tail exhaust pipe assembly.

(b) Connect the tail exhaust pipe assembly to the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Install the tail exhaust pipe assembly with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

6. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
