Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: REAR VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Navigation System / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTCs Rear View Monitor System.

HINT
The navigation receiver assembly may store the DTCs of the following system. If DTCs other than those specified in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart of the rear view monitor system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the applicable system.





2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Operate the Techstream to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Navigation System / Trouble Codes.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, select the trouble code data display with the clear button.
