SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REMOVAL
CAUTION:
* Always wear safety gloves because the edges of the seatback frame and seat adjuster are sharp and may cause injury.
* Work must be started more than 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off and the negative (-) terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.
(The SRS is equipped with a back-up power source. If work is started within 90 seconds after disconnecting the negative (-) terminal cable of the battery, the SRS may deploy.)
HINT
When removing/installing or overhauling the passenger seat, check the passenger occupant classification system and perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.

2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER Removal (to 12/2010)
3. REMOVE FRONT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER Removal (to 12/2010)
4. REMOVE REAR OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER Removal (to 12/2010)
5. REMOVE REAR INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER Removal (to 12/2010)
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY Removal (to 12/2010)
7. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly (to 12/2010)
8. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly (to 12/2010)
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH Disassembly (to 12/2010)
10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH Disassembly (to 12/2010)
11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD Disassembly (to 12/2010)
12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 4 wire harness clamps from under the seat.
(b) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness.
(c) Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag assembly.
CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
