Installation (to 12/2010)

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the connectors under the seat.

(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTICE:
Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization).

(d) Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

(e) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(f) Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

(g) Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.

(h) Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat to install the front seat assembly.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

2. INSTALL REAR INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the rear inner track bracket cover.

3. INSTALL REAR OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the rear outer track bracket cover.

4. INSTALL FRONT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front inner track bracket cover.

5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front outer track bracket cover.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

7. INSPECT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

Inspect the power seat operation On-Vehicle Inspection.

8. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM (w/ Seat Heater System)

Inspect the seat heater operation Seat Heater System.

9. INITIALIZE ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (for Front Passenger Seat)

HINT
If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check Programming and Relearning.

10. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System (to 12/2010).
