EVAP Canister Purge Inspection

1) For CVT model, place select lever in "P" and apply parking brake.

For M/T model, place gear shift lever in "Neutral" and apply parking brake.
2) Remove engine cover. Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
3) Disconnect purge hose No.1 (1) from purge pipe No.1.
4) Place finger against the end of disconnected hose and check that vacuum is not felt there when engine is cool and running at idle speed. If check result is not satisfactory, check EVAP canister purge valve, wire harness and ECM.
