Accessory Drive Belt Removal and Installation

Accessory Drive Belt Tension Inspection

NOTE:

Do not turn tensioner pulley with a torque higher than 59 Nm (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft).

Removal

1) Disconnect negative (-) cable from battery.
2) Loosen belt tension by turning tensioner (1) clockwise with torque wrench.
3) While keeping tensioner in the loose position remove accessory drive belt (2).






Installation

1) Loosen belt tension by turning tensioner (1) clockwise.
2) While keeping tensioner in the loose position install accessory drive belt (2).





3) Connect negative (-) cable to battery.
