DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE:

Confirm that the following conditions are met in this "DTC Confirmation Procedure".

- Battery voltage >= 11 V

1) Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
2) Run engine at idle speed for 2 sec.

DTC Troubleshooting

1.
Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to Engine and Emission Control System Check Engine and Emission Control System Check.

2. Wire harness check

Check the following points.
- "C2" circuit: Refer to Step 2 through 5 of P0122 DTC P0122 / P0123.
- "C3" circuit: Refer to Step 2 through 5 of P0222 DTC P0222 / P0223.

Are they in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

3. TP sensor check

Check TP sensor for performance referring to "TP Sensor Performance Check" under Testing and Inspection Electric Throttle Body Assembly On-Vehicle Inspection.

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace throttle body assembly. Throttle Body Assembly Removal and Installation
