Circuit Description

Engine start signal is sent from "A1" circuit while engine cranking.

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1) Run engine at idle speed for 5 min.

DTC Troubleshooting


1. Was "Engine and Emission Control System Check" performed?
YES
Go to Step 2.
NO
Go to Engine and Emission Control System Check Engine and Emission Control System Check.
2. Does starting motor operate?
YES
Go to Step 3.
NO
Check starting motor and its circuit.
Starting motor: Starting Motor Inspection
Starting motor circuit: Testing and Inspection
3. Engine start signal check
Check that circuit voltage between "A1" circuit of "E01" connector and ground.
Engine is at cranking: 6 - 14 V
Ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON": 0 - 1 V
Is it in good condition?
YES
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO
Repair or replace defective parts or wire harness.
