PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake switch assembly with the screw.

Torque : 1.5 Nm (15 kgf-cm, 13 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the parking brake lever assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the parking brake switch assembly connector.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily install the NO. 1 parking brake cable assembly to the parking brake lever with the new adjusting nut.

(b) Install the NO. 2 parking brake cable assembly and NO. 3 to the NO. 1 parking brake cable assembly.

4. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

5. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

6. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
