Removal

WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

Removal

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Disassembly

3. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL Disassembly

4. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side.

5. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION LH Disassembly

6. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly

8. DRAIN WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID

(a) Disconnect the 4 clamps.





(b) Disconnect the 2 washer hoses and drain the washer fluid.

HINT
Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts.





(b) Disconnect the guide and separate the windshield washer jar.

(c) Disconnect the connector and disengage the harness clamp.





(d) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the windshield washer jar.





10. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the washer hose.





(b) Pull the washer motor and pump out of the packing of the washer jar.
