SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

HINT
The procedure described below is for the RH side. Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip to the extent that the side No. 1 trim assembly can be removed.

4. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER Removal

5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BELT HOLE COVER Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE TRIM ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt.





(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and separate the seat belt anchor cover cap.

(c) Remove the bolt and the through anchor.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 hooks and the retractor.
