SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

NOTICE:
Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when removing the front seat.

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster) Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster) Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Disengage the 3 front seat inner belt wire harness clamps.

(b) Disconnect the seat position sensor connector.

(c) Disengage the front seat inner belt wire harness clamp.

(d) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly LH.

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and separate the front seatback band.

(b) Disengage the 3 front seat inner belt wire harness clamps.

(e) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly LH.
