Removal
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL
1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
Removal
3. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER ABSORBER Disassembly
4. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Disassembly
6. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR SIDE AIR SEAL
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 side Disassembly.
7. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT EXTENSION RH
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side Disassembly.
8. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE PIPE A
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe from the cooler condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge pipe.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.
9. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioning tube from the cooler condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.
10. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the 2 claws.
(b) Remove the cooler condenser.
NOTICE:
Do not damage the cooler condenser when removing the cooler condenser.
