Installation





BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE ACTUATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the actuator bracket with the 3 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.





Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* Do not remove the hole plug before connecting the brake tube. New brake actuator are filled with brake fluid.
* Do not carry the brake actuator by the connector.

2. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the brake actuator with bracket with the 3 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not damage the brake tubes or wire harness.

(b) Temporarily install each brake tube in the correct positions of the brake actuator as shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a union nut wrench 10 mm and a union nut wrench 12 mm, install the 6 brake tubes onto the brake actuator.

Flare nut 10 mm - Torque : 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)

Flare nut 12 mm - Torque : 20 Nm (199 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.

(d) Connect the brake actuator connector.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the connector is locked securely.
* Make sure that the actuator connector can be connected smoothly. Do not allow entry of water, oil or dirt.

10. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Service and Repair

11. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK

12. INSTALL CENTER COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER Service and Repair

13. CHECK ACTUATOR WITH TECHSTREAM

Testing and Inspection

14. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION

Programming and Relearning

15. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
