2AR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER





(a) Remove the 6 bolts, 7 clips and engine under cover.

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.

(b) Disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body.





(c) Remove the bolt and disconnect the fuel hose bracket.

NOTICE:
If the fuel hose is detached from the clamp shown in the illustration, the clamp cannot be reused.

(d) Disconnect the throttle position sensor and control motor connector.

(e) Remove the 4 bolts and throttle with motor body assembly.





(f) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
