SEAT: FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP Disassembly

3. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the rubber band from the seat cushion spring.

(b) Disconnect the seatback heater connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

(d) Open the 2 fasteners, and then open the seatback cover.

(e) Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the strap of the seatback cover.

(f) Remove the nut, detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the seatback cover bracket from the seatback spring.

(g) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

(h) Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seatback spring.

5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seatback heater to the seatback cover, and then remove the seatback heater from the seatback cover.
