SUSPENSION: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER: DISPOSAL

1. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disposal using a drill.





(1) Fully extend the piston rod and secure the rear shock absorber assembly at an angle in a vise.

(2) Using a drill, slowly make a hole as shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

NOTICE:
* The gas is colorless, odorless, and nonpoisonous.
* Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about, so always use the proper safety equipment.
