Installation





AUDIO / VISUAL: RADIO ANTENNA CORD: INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

1. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
* Apply the tape securely in place.
* Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.
(a) Align the marking tapes on the antenna cord with the markings on the roof headlining.

(b) Install the antenna cord onto the roof headlining with 3 new pieces of tape.





(c) Insert the antenna cord into the cutout of the roof headlining.

(d) Align the antenna cord with the markings on the roof headlining with 6 new pieces of tape.





(e) Install the rest of antenna cord onto the roof headlining with a new piece of tape.





2. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the 4 clamps.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

(c) Install the bolt.

Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING

(a) Install the roof headlining Installation.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

5. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
