DTC B1242 - Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The door control receiver receives signals from the transmitter and sends these signals to the main body ECU. This DTC is output when the applicable RDA signal cannot be received within 1 second of the PRG signal being output from the main body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER)
(a) Disconnect the F38 main body ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the L15 door control receiver connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
(d) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
(e) Reconnect the door control receiver connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the L15 receiver connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
Standard voltage:
(c) Reconnect the receiver connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. REPLACE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER
(a) Replace the door control receiver with a new or normal functioning one. Removal.
HINT: If a correctly functioning door control receiver is available, connect it and check if the wireless door lock function is normal or DTCs are not output. If the alternative receiver functions normally, replace the original door control receiver.

4. REGISTER RECOGNITION CODE
(a) Perform the REGISTRATION procedures Registration.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
5. CONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Check if the same DTC is detected.
HINT: Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the previous vehicle conditions before rechecking for DTCs.
