DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives information regarding the door courtesy switch, door lock position switch and turns on the room light assembly accordingly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (DOME)




(a) Remove the DOME fuse from the engine room relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





(c) Reinstall the DOME fuse.
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY




(a) Remove the room light assembly.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





(c) Remove the room light assembly.
OK:





(d) Reinstall the room light assembly.
NG -- REPLACE ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU)




(a) Disconnect the 2K main body ECU connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





(c) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE
