PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the parking brake switch with the screw.
Torque: 0.9 Nm (9 kgf-cm, 8 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Pass the No. 1 parking brake cable through the parking brake lever.
(b) Bend the claw.





(c) Provisionally install the adjusting nut and the lock nut.





(d) Install the parking brake lever with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 15 Nm (148 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)





(e) Connect the parking brake switch connector.
