SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.
NOTE: Always use "TORX" socket wrench E10 when removing the front seat.
HINT: The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the seat position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the buckle switch connector.
(c) Remove the 2 wiring harness clamps.
(d) Remove the wiring harness from the claw on the front seat cushion shield.
(e) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the buckle switch connector.
(b) Remove the 2 wiring harness clamps.
(c) Remove the wiring harness from the claw on the front seat cushion shield.
(d) Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt.
